The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State has applauded President Bola Tinubu for what it described as his unmatched commitment to inclusive governance and national unity.
In a statement on Tuesday, the Lagos APC Publicity Secretary, Mr. Seye Oladejo, said Tinubu’s administration had gone beyond partisan, ethnic, and religious lines to offer leadership rooted in fairness, representation, and meritocracy.
“President Bola Tinubu is building a Nigeria where every citizen, regardless of tribe, tongue, or faith, feels seen, heard, and valued. In an era where many democracies are struggling with division, the Tinubu administration stands as proof that unity can be built — not by slogans, but through shared opportunity, merit-based leadership, and inclusive national planning,” Oladejo said.
He stressed that the President had shown inclusivity in cabinet appointments, gender balancing, youth representation, and the spread of infrastructure across all regions. He described Tinubu’s cabinet as one of the most diverse and competent in Nigeria’s democratic history, ensuring equitable representation for all six geopolitical zones.
Oladejo also highlighted youth appointments, noting that several individuals under 40 had been entrusted with strategic roles, particularly in technology, the digital economy, and renewable energy.
On religion, he said the fears of exclusion had been replaced by evidence of fairness, with both Christians and Muslims holding sensitive positions while federal resources were distributed equitably across states.
“The President has risen above partisanship. By appointing competent Nigerians from opposition parties, civil society, and the private sector, he has shown that governance is not about politics but progress,” Oladejo said.
He added that inclusivity was also reflected in infrastructure, citing projects such as the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, the Port Harcourt-Maiduguri Rail Line, and the Kaduna Dry Port as evidence of a vision for shared prosperity.
Oladejo urged Nigerians to support the administration, dismissing what he described as attempts by “disillusioned opposition” to distort the reality of unprecedented inclusivity in governance.
