In a scathing attack on President Bola Tinubu’s leadership, legal expert and political analyst Barrister Darlington has accused the administration of deepening the very crises it promised to fix.
Darlington, in a fiery statement, alleged that Tinubu’s governance style has become an unchecked “one-man rule,” leading to economic hardship, insecurity, and political instability across the country.
“The problems Tinubu vowed to solve have only worsened under his watch,” he declared, warning that Nigeria is slipping further into chaos rather than experiencing the “Renewed Hope” agenda the president campaigned on.
The sharp criticism comes amid growing public frustration over inflation, insecurity, and political tensions, with many questioning whether the current government has the capacity—or the willingness—to deliver real change.
As discontent rises, Darlington’s remarks add fuel to the debate: Is Tinubu’s leadership truly delivering progress, or is Nigeria heading towards a deeper crisis under an increasingly centralized rule?
