Tinubu’s True Colors Exposed as AGF Fails to Guide President Amid Rivers Crisis – Barrister Darlington Blasts Governmen

In a scathing criticism, legal expert Barrister Darlington has condemned the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) for allegedly failing to properly advise President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the escalating political crisis in Rivers State.

According to Darlington, the AGF’s silence or incompetence in addressing the unfolding turmoil suggests either negligence or a deliberate attempt to shield the presidency from taking decisive action. He argued that Tinubu’s handling of the crisis reveals his “true colors” as someone who prioritizes political survival over democratic stability.

“This is a disgrace! The Attorney General should be ashamed for failing to guide the president appropriately. This situation in Rivers State is spiraling out of control, and instead of offering legal direction, the AGF has chosen to sit back and watch,” Darlington stated.

The Rivers crisis has been a major point of contention, with various political factions clashing over control of the state’s political structure. Critics believe the federal government’s response—or lack thereof—indicates a dangerous precedent of executive manipulation in state affairs.

Darlington’s comments have added fuel to the ongoing debate, raising concerns about whether the Tinubu administration is truly committed to democratic principles or merely playing politics at the expense of national stability.
