Washington, D.C. — Peter Hegseth, Secretary at the U.S. Department of War, has issued a strong warning concerning the continued killings of Christians in Nigeria.
According to Hegseth, the United States is already making preparations should Nigeria fail to take decisive action to stop the attacks.
“This cannot continue,” Hegseth stated. “They are our brothers and sisters, and it must stop.”
His comments have sparked global attention, with many urging the Nigerian government, led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to act swiftly before the situation worsens.
The ongoing violence has raised concerns about religious intolerance and the need for stronger security measures to protect vulnerable communities.
As international pressure mounts, analysts say Nigeria must demonstrate a firm commitment to safeguarding human rights and religious freedom.
Moral Lesson: Religious freedom must exist — peace and tolerance are essential for a united nation. ❤️🙏
