Dr. Felicia Ibezim, a United States-based medical practitioner, has constructed and donated a community hall to the people of Amikwo Awka in Awka South Local Government Area in honor of her late father, Mr. Clement Nwankwo Okeke.
During the handover ceremony, Dr. Ibezim, represented by Mrs. Grace Nwabueze, expressed gratitude to God for blessing her with a father who supported her education up to the university level.
Reverend Canon Ernest Ebenu, who consecrated the hall, prayed for God’s continued blessings upon the donor, Dr. Ibezim.
The project engineer, Mr. Michael Azubike, acknowledged God’s wisdom in successfully delivering the project, while other speakers, including Nwano Osonwa, Emmanuel Emechi, and Uzoukwu Austin, praised Dr. Ibezim as an illustrious daughter of the community.
The event celebrated the remarkable gesture, with attendees expressing appreciation for Dr. Ibezim’s commitment to community development and her tribute to her late father.
