Valentine Ozigbo, Afam Okpalauzuegbu Join APC in Amesi/Vop

In a significant political realignment in Anambra State, Valentine Ozigbo, former governorship candidate of the Labour Party (LP), and Nze Afam Okpalauzuegbu, the party’s former state secretary, have joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) at their ward in Amesi, Aguata Local Government Area.

The move comes just a day after Ozigbo announced his resignation from the Labour Party, citing the need to pursue a new political direction that prioritizes the development of Anambra beyond party lines. Ozigbo, a respected business executive and politician, was the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) governorship candidate in the 2021 Anambra election before aligning with LP ahead of the 2023 elections.
