Wahala|Soludo Dismisses APC Ahead of Anambra 2025, Claims They’re Politically Irrelevant

In a fiery and unapologetic interview on Arise TV, Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo threw a direct jab at the All Progressives Congress (APC), declaring that the party lacks even the most basic political structure to compete in the state’s upcoming November 8 governorship election.

Mocking the notion of “federal might,” Soludo dismissed APC’s relevance in Anambra, stating bluntly: “APC doesn’t even have a councilor here—not even one. In all past elections, they couldn’t muster up to 3–4% of the vote. You can’t put something on nothing.”

While reaffirming his commitment to a fair democratic process, Soludo revealed that his party, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), would approach the polls like underdogs—but with full confidence in victory.

Despite expressing faith in INEC and federal institutions, Soludo didn’t miss the chance to warn against voter apathy and external interference. “Except people don’t come out to vote, the people will decide,” he said pointedly.

The governor’s remarks have already stirred strong reactions, with critics calling it political arrogance and supporters hailing it as hard truth. Either way, the countdown to Anambra 2025 has officially kicked off with fire.
