The Action Alliance (AA), on Sunday, disclosed that it did not adopt former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar as its presidential candidate in next Saturday’s election.
The National Chairman of AA, Dr Adekunle Omo-Aje, in a statement in Abuja, said the party neither had such arrangement nor was it planning to adopt any other person in place of its presidential candidate.
VOP News reports that the AA, led by sacked national chairman, Mr Kenneth Udeze, alongside four other political parties, had, on Saturday, adopted Atiku Abubakar as their presidential candidate for the Feb. 25 poll.
Reacting, Omo-Aje noted emphatically that the Action Alliance has no such arrangement at all, nor was anything as such ever contemplated as the party is not thinking of any kind of collaboration with any political party or any candidate whatsoever.
