The Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has shed light on the lingering insecurity issues bedevilling the country.

He said the festering insecurity challenges, particularly incessant attacks on hapless Nigerians were the resultant effect of the Federal Government’s inability to enthrone a regime of law and order.

Atiku’s position was coming on the heels of the terrorist attack on the Kuje custodial centre in Abuja.

The terrorists attacked the centre and freed inmates including 64 of their members held in custody last night.

But reacting to the attack in a series of tweets on his Twitter handle today, the former Vice President noted the missing regime of law and order in the country was emboldening the terrorists.
