Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State has been appointed to lead Atiku Abubakar’s reconciliation team, as part of ongoing efforts at resolving the lingering feud between Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State and the Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate.
Fintiri, while fielding questions from a journalist, revealed his new assignment while answering questions on the PDP crisis.
The governor noted that he has been made the chairman of the reconciliation committee set up by Atiku to resolve his feud with Governor Wike.
The governor who disclosed that he seemed the right man for the assignment, assured that with God’s help, he could reach a truce between former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Wike.
He assured that the crisis rocking the party would be resolved amicably before the 2023 general elections.
