In the meantime, VOPTv analyst, Peter Anosike has accused the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory of chasing clout with his purported threat to revoke the titles of land properties belonging to former President Muhammadu Buhari and other Nigerians.
Speaking on VOPTv’s evening flagship show, ‘The Issues, Anosike described the said threat as a deceit, stating that Wike cannot do it even under the worst influence of alcohol.
Anosike claimed that Wike was using that means to get to the opposition.
He insisted that President Bola Tinubu has promised to continue with Buhari’s good works, just as Akume and Abass are top members of the present administration. Therefore, he cannot revoke the title of the property without the knowledge and permission of the president in the government they serve.
Similarly, Anosike said Wike was unfair in his earlier revocation of Certificates of Occupancy across the Federal Capital Territory and their reallocation at a flat rate of N5 million.
He maintained that Wike was only punishing the FCT residents for not voting for Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress in the 2023 general elections.
Anosike equally noted that property in Kubwa cannot be at par with another at Gwarimpa and other high-brow areas, adding that Wike is doing more harm than good to Tinubu’s image.
