The Labour Party governorship candidate in Lagos State, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, has described the March 18 governorship election as marred with violence.
He made the statement while addressing the media today.
He disclosed that there was no election in the state, stating that it was violent at multiple levels, physically and diabolic.
He urged Lagosians to know that the enemy is not the neighbours or visitors or fellow Lagosians but the common enemy is violence, insecurity, poverty, stagnation, corruption and underdevelopment.
You will recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC had announced Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressives Congress APC as the winner of last Saturday’s election in the state.
The declaration was made in the early hours of Monday, March 20, by the Returning Officer of the Governorship and House of Assembly elections in Lagos State, Professor Adenike Oladeji.
