Ayedatiwa Of APC Wins Ondo Guber Election On Landslide

Ruling All Progressives Congress and its candidate, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, have won a landslide in the 2024 Ondo governorship election. APC’s Aiyedatiwa cleared all the 18 Local Government Areas with a wide margin against the main rival and Peoples Democratic Party’s Agboola Ajayi. While APC’s Aiyedatiwa polled a total of 355, 781 votes, Ajayi of the main opposition PDP got 117,845. Results of Saturday’s election in the state were collated at the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission in Akure, the state capital, under the watch of the state Resident Electoral Commissioner, Oluwatoyin Babalola.
