BANKNOTES: CBN’S DIRECTIVE TOO LITTLE AND LATE

Three days after the CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele approved the concurrent use of old notes alongside the redesigned ones in obedience to a supreme court injunction, many are still unable to access cash.

Some commercial banks have alleged that their supply of either currency runs low as they have not been credited by the apex bank.

VOP News was on the streets of Lagos to ask questions on the availability and ease of access to cash for citizens.
