BIG KALA | OdumoduBlvck Clinches ‘Next Rated’ Prize at 17th Headies Awards

Rapper OdumoduBlvck emerged as the standout winner of the coveted ‘Next Rated’ category at the 17th edition of the prestigious Headies Awards.

Voice Of  The People (VOP) reports that the award ceremony, themed “Back to Base,” was held on Sunday at the Landmark Event Centre in Lagos.

The ‘Next Rated’ category is often regarded as the most prestigious, spotlighting the industry’s brightest and most promising new talents — and OdumoduBlvck’s victory was one of the evening’s most memorable moments.

In an emotional scene, he invited his mother and his entire crew on stage to celebrate the milestone. He shared a touching story about his mother’s journey, noting that she gave birth to him in her late thirties and had always believed he was destined for greatness. Dedicating the award to her, OdumoduBlvck expressed profound gratitude, emphasizing their unique mother-son bond. The event was graced by a host of celebrities, dignitaries, and notable personalities, including the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who attended the celebration.
