Covenant University Expands Academic Frontiers with Two New Colleges

  Covenant University has announced the establishment of two new colleges the COLLEG OF LAW and the COLLEGE OF MEDICINE in a significant step toward expanding its academic offerings. The new colleges are scheduled to commence academic activities in the 2026\2027 academic session.

This addition marks another milestone in the university’s commitment to providing quality education across diverse professional fields. With the introduction of the new colleges, Covenant University will now operate six colleges:

College of Science and Technology (CST)
College of Management and Social Science (CMSS)
College of Leadership and Development studies (CLDS)
College of Engineering (COE)
College of  Medicine
College of Law

The expansion is expected to provide aspiring students with greater opportunities to pursue careers in law and medicine

It reflects the university’s continued investment in developing globally competitive graduates across diverse disciplines while strengthening its contribution to national development through quality education.

As preparations continue ahead of the next academic session, the university community looks forward to welcoming the pioneer students into both the College of Law and the College of Medicine, ushering in a new chapter in Covenant University’s history.
