Enugu Air Confirms Runway Incident at Benin Airport, Assures Passengers of Safety

Enugu Air has confirmed that one of its aircraft was involved in a runway incursion after landing at Benin Airport on Tuesday, assuring the public that all passengers and crew are safe.

In a statement, the airline said everyone on board disembarked safely and that no injuries or casualties were recorded.

The airline noted that the aircraft has been secured, while the relevant aviation authorities have been notified in line with established procedures. It added that an assessment of the aircraft and the circumstances surrounding the incident is currently underway.

Enugu Air also warned that the occurrence could lead to temporary adjustments to some flight schedules. According to the airline, passengers affected by any changes will be contacted directly and provided with the necessary assistance.
