The Renew Hope Continuity Marshals, a political support group, has urged President Bola Tinubu to remain steadfast in his commitment to Nigeria’s sustainable development, despite distractions from political opponents.
In a statement released on Wednesday in Abuja, the group’s National Coordinator, Osawemwenhio Uwagboe, called on Tinubu not to be swayed by the “antics of political marabouts and jobbers” who, he claimed, are regrouping under new political platforms to undermine the administration.

Uwagboe emphasized the need for all Nigerians to support the Tinubu administration’s ongoing efforts to rejuvenate the nation’s economy. He praised the president’s “passion and sincerity” for national development, particularly highlighting the controversial removal of fuel subsidy and other tough economic reforms as necessary sacrifices for long-term prosperity.
“Government policies such as deregulation and liberalisation are positive steps that require initial public sacrifice before yielding economic benefits,” he said.
According to Uwagboe, Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda is already producing visible results, citing recent reductions in food and petrol prices, and the naira’s appreciation against the dollar, as signs of progress.
He also commended the administration’s efforts in combating insecurity, particularly in the areas of banditry and terrorism, which he described as major threats to national unity and peace.
Additionally, he noted improvements across key sectors including agriculture, education, health, youth development, solid minerals, and energy, which he said are beginning to reflect the impact of people-oriented governance.
Describing the Renew Hope Continuity Marshals as a coalition of former student leaders, youth, and young adults from across Nigeria, Uwagboe stated that the group transcends political affiliations but is united by a shared belief in Tinubu’s vision for Nigeria.
“We believe Nigeria will progress and prosper under President Tinubu. This belief is rooted in his demonstrated sincerity and unwavering commitment to national development, prosperity, stability, and progress,” he said.
Uwagboe revealed that the group has structures in all 36 states and the FCT, and is prepared to mobilize nationwide in support of Tinubu’s re-election bid in the 2027 general election.
He reaffirmed the group’s dedication to national unity and pledged ongoing support for both the executive and legislative arms of government in their efforts to eradicate corruption and ensure good governance.
