JAMB RESUMES DIRECT ENTRY REGISTRATION, SETS NEW GUIDELINES

The Joint Administration and Matriculation board today announced the resumption of the registration exercise for the 2023 Direct Entry (DE) examination.

The board also announced new guidelines for the registration process.

Registrar of JAMB, Professor Is-haq Oloyede, who made this known at a briefing on Monday in Abuja, said the DE registration would come to a close on April 28, 2023.

The board on February 21 announced the suspension of the registration exercise to enable it to deploy certain measures, which are designed to better serve prospective candidates.

While lamenting the high level of forgery of A’ Level certificates used for the registration, Oloyede told journalists on Monday that the Board has introduced new guidelines to checkmate such act.

Speaking further, Oloyede said the Board would only accept 13 qualifications/certificates for the 2023 Direct Entry registration exercise, which include first degree, university diploma, Higher National Diploma (HND), Ordinary National Diploma /National Diploma (OND/ND) and Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE).
