In other to have a sensible means of Reportage now that the Campaigns are about to kick off officially, the National Broadcast Commission set up a sensitization forum on political Broadcasting where all News Editors, political Programme Anchors, and broadcast executives attended to be adequately informed on the procedures to broadcast the upcoming campaign activities.
With the theme, “towards a fair and responsible broadcast coverage of the 2023 General election; a multi stakeholder Dialogue” Emphasised on the need for broadcast organisations to be instruments of National Cohesion and not instruments of division.
The forum discussed the polity at stake, the need for objective Reportage, maintaining political Neutrality which promotes peace and harmony in the society.
The forum’s opening remarks was done by the Director General of the NBC BALARABE SHEHU ILELAH.
