The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has expressed its commitment to fostering collaboration with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in key sectors including health, education, and youth development. This initiative aims to enhance the well-being and opportunities for the people of the Niger Delta region.

During a recent meeting with a delegation from the UAE, NDDC officials outlined their vision for strategic partnerships that can lead to sustainable development. The commission emhasized the importance of leveraging international expertise and resources to address pressing challenges in the region, particularly in improving healthcare infrastructure and educational facilities.

 

NDDC Managing Director, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, highlighted the significant potential for collaboration in empowering the youth through various programs, including vocational training and entrepreneurship initiatives. “Investing in our youth is critical for the future of the Niger Delta,” he stated, underscoring the need for innovative solutions that can create job opportunities and foster skill development.
