Nuhu Ribadu has formally taken over from Maj Gen Babagana Monguno as the National Security Adviser today.

Ribadu who was earlier appointed as the Special Adviser on Security to the President was later elevated to the position of National Security Adviser.

He promised to live up to the expectations of Nigerians and thanked President Tinubu for renewing the hope of a more secure nation.

You will recall that Ribadu, a former police officer, was the pioneer chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, under former President Olusegun Obasanjo
