Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Olalomi Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has reportedly been arrested by the police following a complaint filed by his baby mama, Ashabi Simple.

The development comes amid an ongoing public dispute between the singer and Ashabi, with both parties previously exchanging accusations on social media.

Videos currently circulating online show Portable resisting arrest as he shouted and struggled with officers attempting to take him into custody. In the footage, the singer was seen surrounded by a crowd of onlookers, some of whom tried to calm him and advised him against resisting the police.

The incident has sparked mixed reactions from fans and social media users. While some criticised Portable’s conduct, suggesting he should have cooperated with law enforcement, others expressed concern over how the situation was handled.
