The messy breakup between comedian Ganiu Morufu, aka Ijoba Lande, and his estranged wife, Darasimi, has taken a dramatic turn as she breaks her silence on allegations of infidelity.
Darasimi, whose name has been dragged into a whirlwind of controversy, admitted to an intimate moment with popular Yoruba actor Babatunde Tayo, aka Baba Tee, but insists no actual affair took place. Speaking in a live interview with socialite Esabod and other TikTokers, she claimed the incident occurred during a drunken game of “Truth or Dare” initiated by her friend, Marygold.
Lande had previously accused his ex-wife of sleeping with at least 21 men in the entertainment industry, including Baba Tee. However, Darasimi denied any wrongdoing, arguing that the claims were exaggerated.
Recounting the controversial night, she admitted to consuming 10 shots of alcohol while Baba Tee and Marygold smoked marijuana. She claimed the situation escalated when Baba Tee was dared to have sex with her, and he even went to get a condom. However, she insisted that all she did was sit on his lap—nothing more.
Her statement has sparked widespread debate, especially as Baba Tee himself has admitted to a “short sexual encounter” with her, though he blamed alcohol for his actions. The 45-year-old actor publicly apologized to Lande in a Facebook post, expressing regret over the incident.
With both parties offering conflicting narratives, the scandal has fueled conversations about trust, loyalty, and the dark side of Nigeria’s entertainment industry.
