Speaking during a recent sermon, Ogah recounted the chilling incident, claiming that a group of armed assassins stormed their family home with the sole mission of eliminating Bishop Oyedepo. According to her, the assailants openly announced their deadly intent and launched a room-to-room search for the influential preacher.
Despite scouring the entire house for hours, the attackers reportedly left empty-handed, unable to locate him. Ogah described the incident as surreal, saying the family watched in disbelief as the intruders turned the house upside down.
The assassins came and said they were there to kill my father. They searched everywhere—room to room—but couldn’t find him, she narrated.
What followed was even more baffling. Ogah said that after the attackers left, Bishop Oyedepo emerged from hiding and calmly revealed that he had been in the house all along, observing the assailants. However, according to him, they were supernaturally blinded to his presence.
All of us were looking like it was a film trick,” Ogah said, quoting her father as saying, I saw them the whole time they just couldn’t see me.
The revelation has sparked a wave of reactions online, with some calling it a divine act of protection and others questioning the supernatural claim.
This account adds to the growing list of extraordinary testimonies associated with the popular preacher, whose ministry has attracted both fervent followers and fierce critics over the years.
