Three passengers have lost their lives and others sustained various degrees of injuries in a road accident along Maiduguri-Damaturu highway.
VOP news gathered that the accident occurred yesterday morning just a few kilometres from Benisheik town in the Kaga Local Government Area of Borno State.
According to an eyewitness, the accident involved a Borno Express vehicle.
Efforts to reach Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Commander, Utten Iki Boyi proved abortive as he didn’t pick his calls nor respond to text message sent to him as of time of filing this report.
