Popular TikTok influencer and livestreamer Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, has been hospitalised following a car crash involving his newly acquired Mercedes-Benz in Lagos.

The incident occurred on Sunday along the Lekki–Epe Expressway while Peller was conducting a live broadcast on social media. Videos from the livestream, which have since circulated widely online, showed the content creator appearing visibly distressed and emotionally overwhelmed while driving alone.

During the broadcast, Peller made alarming and distressing remarks that raised concerns among viewers about his emotional state. Moments later, the vehicle reportedly veered off the road and collided with a barrier, causing significant damage.
Bystanders quickly intervened at the scene and assisted Peller before he was transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention. While it has been confirmed that he is receiving care, details regarding the extent of his injuries have not been officially disclosed.

The incident has drawn renewed attention to Peller’s highly publicised relationship with fellow influencer Jarvis, which has previously been marked by online disputes, reconciliations, and leaked private conversations. Speculation has emerged online suggesting that relationship tensions may have contributed to his emotional distress prior to the crash, though this remains unconfirmed.
Reactions on social media have been mixed. While many fans and fellow creators expressed serious concern for Peller’s wellbeing and mental health, others questioned the circumstances surrounding the incident, citing his history of viral online content. Calls for empathy and responsible discussion have continued to trend across platforms.
As of the time of reporting, Peller has not released an official statement regarding the crash. VOP News will continue to monitor the situation and provide verified updates as more information becomes available.
