Turkish football pundits have cast doubt on Victor Osimhen’s potential move to Manchester United, criticizing both his suitability for the Premier League and his reported market value.
Thomas(report) a well-known Turkish football journalist, was particularly outspoken. Although Osimhen has impressed at Galatasaray — recording 13 goals and six assists in just 17 appearances — Ulureren argued that the striker is overrated and not worth his €75 million release clause. He claimed that while Osimhen is effective at wearing down defenses and creating space, these qualities alone do not justify the heavy investment. Ulureren even suggested that a move to Manchester United could lead to Osimhen being “disgraced” due to the high demands and pressures of the Premier League.

Echoing Ulureren’s views, veteran pundit Erman Toroglu also questioned Osimhen’s effectiveness. While acknowledging his individual talent, Toroglu criticized Osimhen’s lack of chemistry with teammates and inconsistency in front of goal, arguing that Galatasaray would be making a poor financial decision if they pursued a permanent deal.
