‘₦400 Million Is Just ₦400 to My Children’ — King Ochacho Unveils More Giveaways After Peller’s Wedding

Days after surprising social media personalities Peller and Jarvis with a mansion reportedly worth ₦400 million, Abuja-based real estate businessman King Mohamed Adah, popularly known as King Ochacho, says the gift was only the beginning.

Speaking during a TikTok livestream on Monday, the founder of Ochacho Real Homes described the property as “small money,” saying his children encouraged him to buy the couple a home close to Palace 7, an upscale area in Abuja.

“₦400 million is no money. ₦400 million is just ₦400 as far as Ice King, Money Man, Ochacho Real Estate is concerned. It’s small money to them,” he said.

The businessman said the decision was inspired by a family conversation about where the newlyweds should live. According to him, his children believed Peller deserved a home in one of Abuja’s premium neighbourhoods.

Beyond the wedding gift, Ochacho announced another initiative aimed at supporting young Nigerians while promoting his son Ice King’s music career. He said 30 people who create the best videos using Ice King’s new song will receive ₦100,000 each, with winners to be announced on August 9 and August 16.

He also revealed plans to mark his son’s 13th birthday by paying the school fees of members of the public, although details of how beneficiaries will be selected were not disclosed.

The announcements have generated widespread reactions online. While many Nigerians praised the businessman for using his wealth to support others, some called for greater investment in long-term opportunities such as education, job creation and youth empowerment.

King Ochacho, who built his fortune through Ochacho Real Homes, has attracted increasing public attention in recent weeks through a series of high-profile philanthropic gestures.
