Alhaji Bello Goronyo, the Minister of State for Works, has praised President Bola Tinubu’s achievements, saying that the progress made in just two years surpasses that of an entire decade.
Speaking to journalists on Tuesday in Sokoto, Goronyo highlighted Tinubu’s commitment to repositioning Nigeria to meet the aspirations of all its citizens.
“President Tinubu has made it clear to his cabinet members that their roles are not for enjoyment but for dedicated service to safeguard Nigeria’s future,” Goronyo said.

He added, “Today, we are proud of his passion and commitment to Nigeria’s development across all sectors. His dedication has already made a positive impact equivalent to more than a decade’s progress, even though he has been in office for only two years.”
The minister noted that the country is undergoing extensive rehabilitation in various sectors despite inheriting numerous incomplete and abandoned projects.
“Under the Ministry of Works alone, we have completed over 260 projects across the six geopolitical zones,” he said.
Goronyo reaffirmed that the president’s Renewed Hope Agenda is being implemented effectively and remains a top priority for the federal cabinet.
He congratulated President Tinubu and assured Nigerians that more democratic dividends are forthcoming.
Speaking on Sokoto State Governor Ahmed Aliyu, Goronyo praised his transparency and commitment to inclusive governance.
“The governor’s nine-point Smart Agenda is being successfully implemented, delivering tangible results. We will continue to support him so that after his re-election in 2027, progress can be consolidated,” he concluded.
