The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, has congratulated First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu on her 66th birthday, describing her as a compassionate leader whose interventions have reached Nigerians across political, ethnic, religious and geographical lines.
Mr Yilwatda conveyed the message on Monday on behalf of the APC National Working Committee, leaders and members of the party.
The APC chairman praised Mrs Tinubu’s work through the Renewed Hope Initiative and other programmes, particularly in education, healthcare, women and youth empowerment, as well as support for vulnerable Nigerians.
He described her as a “true mother of the nation”, saying her interventions demonstrated that leadership could involve restoring dignity, rekindling hope and giving people confidence in a better future.
Mr Yilwatda prayed for continued blessings in Mrs Tinubu’s marriage to President Bola Tinubu and asked for strength and wisdom for the couple as they continue their service to Nigeria.
He also wished the First Lady a happy 66th birthday, praying that her life would continue to be a blessing to Nigeria and humanity.
President Tinubu also celebrates wife
The APC chairman’s birthday message came as President Bola Tinubu separately celebrated his wife, describing her as his “truest friend and confidante.”
In his birthday tribute, the President praised Mrs Tinubu for her patience, courage, compassion and support throughout their years together. He also highlighted her humanitarian activities through the New Era Foundation and the Renewed Hope Initiative.
