
The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) has announced that 6,260 terrorists were neutralized and 14,138 terrorists and other criminals apprehended during joint military operations across Nigeria in the past two years.
Brig.-Gen. Ibrahim Abu-Mawashi, Deputy Director of Defence Media Operations, disclosed this on Thursday in Abuja during an Expanded Parley with Media Executives. The event marked the second anniversary of Gen. Christopher Musa’s tenure as Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), alongside other service chiefs.
Abu-Mawashi detailed the military’s achievements, including the rescue of 5,365 kidnapped victims and the recovery of a significant cache of arms and ammunition.
