Singer Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, has reacted after his twin brother, Peter Okoye (Mr P), alleged that their late mother, Mrs. Josephine Okoye, and other family members mistreated his wife, Mrs. Lola Okoye, during the latest episode of his ongoing tell-all series on the P-Square family feud.

In a post shared on his social media pages on Friday, Rudeboy appeared to respond to the allegations, writing:

“Unfortunately, you’re not here to defend yourself. Continue resting, Mum.”

The post came shortly after Mr. P released the eighth episode of his video series chronicling the long-running dispute within the Okoye family.

Mr P recounts family meeting

In the video, Mr. P recounted a family meeting held at his Omole residence, where he claimed his late mother, brothers and pastors confronted him and his wife over their relationship.

According to him, the incident occurred shortly after Mrs. Lola Okoye gave birth to their son.

He said his mother visited their home when the baby was about five or six months old and asked to see Mrs. Lola Okoye, but not the child.

To honour the request, Mr. P said he told his wife not to bring the baby, claiming he explained that the house had been fumigated.

According to him, when Mrs. Lola Okoye arrived, a meeting was held in the master bedroom attended by their late mother, brothers Mr. Jude Okoye, Mr. Paul Okoye (Rudeboy) and Mr. Tony Okoye, alongside some pastors.

He alleged that neither he nor his wife was offered a seat.

“Everybody was seated… I went to call Lola. When she entered the room, nobody stood up or said, ‘Lola, sit down.’ Nobody even bothered to welcome her properly. Lola and I just sat on the floor,” he claimed.

Allegations against family members

According to Mr. P, his late mother allegedly told his wife:

“Young woman, we the Okoye family have decided that you should leave our son alone.”

He said he was shocked by the development and questioned what had prompted the meeting.

Mr. P further alleged that Mr. Jude Okoye later picked up a photograph of his infant son and made a derogatory remark in Igbo, which Mrs. Lola Okoye interpreted as referring to the child as a “bastard.”

He claimed the incident left his wife in tears before pastors intervened and escorted her out of the house.

The singer also alleged that Mr. Jude Okoye and Rudeboy had opposed Mrs. Lola Okoye’s pregnancy and circulated an anonymous email questioning the paternity of his unborn son.

According to him, his late mother later acknowledged that the child was indeed his biological son and instructed his brothers to apologise, but the apology never came before her death.

Mr P defends wife

Mr. P rejected claims that his wife had a poor relationship with his late mother.

He said Mrs. Lola Okoye cared for Mrs. Josephine Okoye during her illness, staying with her in hospital until midnight and transporting pastors home daily for more than two months.

He also claimed that before her death, their mother instructed Rudeboy and Mr. Jude Okoye to apologise to him, but they never did.

Rudeboy responds

While Rudeboy did not directly address the specific allegations raised by his twin brother, his social media post was widely interpreted as a defence of their late mother.

The latest exchange adds another chapter to the long-running dispute involving the former P-Square members and their elder brother, Mr. Jude Okoye, over the collapse of the group’s reunion, royalty payments, company management and family relationships.

In previous episodes of his tell-all series, Mr. P accused Mr. Jude Okoye of financial misconduct, threatening his life and attempting to dispossess him of a jointly owned property in Atlanta.

Mr. Jude Okoye has denied key allegations, insisting that many of the matters are already before the court.

Meanwhile, Rudeboy has largely avoided public exchanges over the family dispute, with his management recently stating that the singer remains focused on his music career and would not engage in public back-and-forth over family matters.
